When building a website, the first priority is usually to determine the width of the website, which corresponds to the screen resolution. In the past, during the era when 14-inch screens were common, the standard size was mostly 1024x768.
With the prevalence of tablets and smartphones today, along with PC screens predominantly being over 19 inches and the usage rate of handheld devices reaching over 50%, a single size for web page presentation is no longer adequate for the design needs of multi-screen web browsing. The mission of the new generation of Responsive Web Design is to overcome these changes and provide a new web design approach.
